We had a lovely time at the private view of the Serco Prize for Illustration 2014 last night.

Very proud that two Eastwing illustrators have their entries in the exhibition this year.

The London Stories brief seems to have proven very inspirational, and the work was of a really high standard. Everyone we spoke to was very impressed. Congratulations Ian Whadcock and Richard Williams!

AOI illustration award winner! – nate kitch

Congratulations to the lovely Nate Kitch, for his well-deserved win at the AOI Illustration Awards this week.

Nate’s series of work illustrating case studies in Oliver Sach’s book “The Man who mistook his Wife for a Hat” won the New Talent section of the Self Initiated award.

Judges Comments:

The use of metaphor, imagery and colour in this series of images is clever and subtle. There is a slight sliding out focus that hints at the disconnect between the conscious and unconscious mind which is central to the subject matter. The colour palette is great.

Well done Nate, we’re very proud!

See the exhibition at Somerset House until 27th October.
