d 30-td_self_winterbookcover_rgb Tom Duxbury talks us through his new piece of work..

“As I’m continually inspired by folklore and gothic fiction I’ve created a wintry landscape, which captures the objects and themes often found in these types of narratives. For a chilling read this Christmas, I recommend the classic Collected Ghost Stories by M R James.”

DG-CASINO-ROYALE-6

DGeastwing3

Very excited to give you a peek at Damian Gascoigne’s beautiful illustrations for Vintage books’ fantastic collaboration with Bentley Motors!

A luxury special edition of Casino Royale has been created to mark 60 years of Bond, featuring a brand new introduction from racing legend Sir Stirling Moss.

Just 500 copies have been produced, each costing £750. This collector’s item is on sale now exclusively from Random House.

From the hand-bound beluga leather casing to distinctive Bentley features such as hand-stitched embroidery and silver foil page edges, this special edition of Casino Royale is produced with only the very finest materials. Its striking red, white and black colouring is a nod to the gambling theme of Fleming’s first novel, where Bond famously takes on his adversary, Le Chiffre, over a game of baccarat. A special feature of this edition is the bespoke set of playing cards, hidden within a secret compartment.

Throughout each book are evocative brush illustrations by our very own Award winning illustrator Damian Gascoigne.
