I studied at Chelsea School of Art, and Central St Martins.

I have been working successfully as a freelance illustrator for 20 years. I work in editorial, design and advertising but the majority of my commissions are in publishing.

My inspiration is eclectic from objects, textures, pictures I might find and like or a piece of narrative work, a period in history, a place I have travelled to or old paintings.
