Richard has been an illustrator since graduating in 2000 and is inspired by comic books, cartoons and cinema, fashion and costume, science fiction, gothic horror, myths, legends and fairytales, designer toys and plastic kitsch.

His clients include the Guardian, BBC Audiobooks Ltd, Sky, Royal National Theatre, International HIV/Aids, and Hodder Childrens Books.
