After receiving a non art related BA degree and working for an ad agency in Tokyo, Masako came to England and studied illustration at University College Falmouth. She likes to add concept and subtle humour in her works, and enjoys unexpected effects produced by printmaking and collage.

Masako is based in Tokyo, but also in Cornwall in spirit.
