Jo has worked as an illustrator and printmaker since graduating from Manchester, where she studied Fine Art. With a strong and varied creative background she has both design agency and freelance experience. Her adaptable illustrative style uses traditional printing and painting skills combined with the technical advantages of Photoshop.

Jo's illustrations are simple and immediate: she identifies the key elements to convey the message, and then uses fluid lines to describe the focus, layered onto painterly washes of colour.
