Gary Sawyer has been producing his strong graphic illustrations for a little over fifteen years. His first commission was for a horoscope page for 19 magazine which he produced on a Sunday afternoon with acrylic paints, oil pastels and stickers. He has since worked for a variety of clients including Entrepreneur Magazine, New York Times Upfront, Guardian Weekend and New Scientist. Gary once had an illustration printed upside down by a well known newspaper and would really like to do an illustration for The Lancet.

Gary has recently returned to the UK after spending 2 and a half years living in New Zealand and a year in rural France. He is a keen cyclist and enjoys fig biscuits.
